La artista michoacana Natalia Curíntzita ha sido invitada para participar en la exposición colectiva del Encuentro Internacional de Mujeres en el Arte que se llevará a cabo en la Cámara de Diputados de la Ciudad de México del 9 al 13 de Marzo del presente año. Este Encuentro, que celebra su decimotercera edición, reune a destacadas artistas de México y el extranjero en diversas disciplinas artísticas.

Natalia Curíntzita, visual artist from Mexico, has been invited to take part of the 2009 International Encounters of Women in Art Exhibit, which will take place at Mexico City's Cámara de Diputados from March 9th to the 13th. This Encounters, which arrive to the 13th edition, bring together reknowned artists of different artistic areas from Mexico and abroad.

PRIMERA GRABACIÓN DEL CONCERTINO PARA VIOLÍN DE BLAS GALINDO / PREMIERE RECORDING OF BLAS GALINDO’S CONCERTINO FOR VIOLIN
El próximo miércoles 25 de Febrero se llevará a cabo el concierto de presentación del disco compacto del Concertino para violín y orquesta de cámara del compositor mexicano Blas Galindo. Este disco, que contiene la primera grabación que se realiza de esa importante obra del repertorio mexicano del siglo XX, tiene la participación como solista principal del violinista Ludwig Carrasco acompañado por la Orquesta de Cámara de la Universidad Michoacana bajo la dirección del maestro Mario Rodríguez Taboada.
En el concierto se presentarán también otras obras, incluidas en el CD, de Carlos Jiménez Mabarak, Gabriel Rojas Pedraza, José Saucedo, Bonifacio Rojas, y Alberto Ginastera. El evento se realizará a las 20 hrs. en el Auditorio del Centro Cultural Universitario de la ciudad de Morelia.
On Wednesday February 25th will take place the concert-presentation of the CD with Blas Galindo’s Concertino for violin and chamber orchestra. This CD, which contains the premiere recording of that important work from the 20th century repertoire, features as the main soloist the violinist Ludwig Carrasco accompanied by maestro Mario Rodriguez Taboada leading the Universidad Michoacana Chamber Orchestra.
The concert will also present other works, included as well in the CD, by Carlos Jiménez Mabarak, Gabriel Rojas Pedraza, José Saucedo, Bonifacio Rojas, and Alberto Ginastera. This event will start at 8 PM in the Auditorium of the Centro Cultural Universitario (Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico).
